From your RCN Wireless phone, dial *86. Interrupt the message by hitting #, then enter your pin number and follow the prompts. If you do not have your RCN Wireless phone, you can still access your voicemail when you dial your RCN Wireless phone number then interrupt the message by hitting #. Enter your pin number and follow the prompts.

3. Can I have my RCN Wireless phone shipped to me overnight?
RCN Wireless orders can be expedited to include overnight shipping. You will be charged the additional shipping costs incurred for overnight shipments. Please call our wireless team at 877.WRLS.RCN to ask about having your phone shipped overnight. You can also have your wirelss phones shipped to you faster by requesting UPS ground. Please call for details.

4. Can I activate a non-RCN Wireless phone with an RCN Wireless calling plan?
Yes. Any Verizon Wireless phone can be activated with RCN Wireless service with a $35 activation fee. RCN Wireless cannot activate any other carrier phones.

5. What is the difference between the Manufacture’s Warranty and the $59.99 RCN Warranty?
The manufacturer warranty is included with every RCN Wireless phone purchase and covers all factory defects for a one year period. The Warranty does not cover physical damage, water damage or any accidental breaking of the phone.
However, the RCN Wireless Warranty covers ANY physical damage, water damage, or accidental breaking of the phone. This warranty that may be purchased for $59.99 for the first year. A second year may be purchased for an additional $59.99.

6. When do my minutes start and end each month?
Your RCN Wireless monthly usage starts on the first of the month and finishes at the end of the month. RCN Wireless services are billed on a monthly basis and on a usage basis. The monthly charges are pro-rated depending on the time of the month service begins or ends and then billed one full month in advance. In addition, billing for usage charges are calculated in full 1-minute (60-second) increments and are billed in arrears.

7. What is the difference between RCN Wireless Individual Plans and RCN Wireless Family Plans?
All RCN Wireless plans offer a nationwide calling area with unlimited night and weekend minutes. RCN Wireless Family Plans include unlimited calling within your family network for an additional $14.50 per phone. Up to 3 phones can be added to your Family Plan.

RCN Wireless monthly charges include a USF tax $1.95 and a Number Portability surcharge of $0.40. A $25.00 Non-payment Fee is applied if your RCN Wireless Service is shut-off for non-payment. A $175.00 Early Termination Fee applied if you choose to cancel your RCN Wireless Service before the end of your contract term.

11. What is *611 and how does it work?
If you would like to know which cellular network your RCN Wireless phone is operating on, dial *611. Typically, you will hear the message “Welcome to Verizon Wireless.” If you do not hear that message, then you are roaming outside the RCN Wireless network. Roaming rates are $0.69 per minute. *611 is a free call.

12. What is *228 and how does it work?
To activate your RCN Wireless phone, you must dial *228, then select option 1. Wait to hear the message that states “your phone has been programmed successfully”. Once this is done, you must make one outgoing call from your RCN Wireless phone to complete the activation.
